Bin mal gespannt, ob sie dann in einer aktuell modernen oder sehr futuristischen Welt spielt - je weiter nach vorne, desto interessanter, wie sehr sich die Allomantie mit neuer Technik verbinden wird, finde ich. Wobei mir die ursprüngliche Trilogie immer noch am besten gefällt.
Mit den Sturmlicht-Chroniken wurde ich irgendwie bisher nicht so recht warm. Habe gerade mit dem Hörbuch vom zweiten Teil angefangen, vielleicht taugt mir aber auch nur die Sprecherin nicht ganz.

Die Sturmlicht-Chroniken liegen bei mir noch ungelesen herum, ich bin seit einigen Monaten schon deutlich weniger am Lesen.
Massiv futuristisch wird es glaube ich nicht, aber das was ich dazu im Kopf habe, ist gerade sehr dünn ... Reisen zum Moand sollen möglich sein ... OK, das geht schon seit einigen Jahrzehnten.

Uh, Staffel 2 von Altered Carbon sieht gut aus. Wohl mehr eine Interpretation von Buch 3 (Woken Furies) mit den für die Serie erfundenen Elementen.

"Das Spiel der Götter 17: Die Schwingen der Dunkelheit" (Dust of Dreams, Part 2) erscheint tatsächlich in gut einer Woche, eine gute Gelegenheit endlich mit "Das Spiel der Götter 16: Die Flucht der Kinder" (Dust of Dreams, Part 1) anzufange ... dachte ich. Gleich im Vorwort heißt es ja sinngemäß "Sorry, Dust of Dreams und The Crippled God sind eigentlich ein einzicker großer Band" ... dauert auch nur noch ein Jahr, bis der letzte Band übersetzt sei soll (mal schauen, wie oft der noch verschoben wird ).
Egal, ich fange trotzdem an zu lesen ... könnte dann sicher nächstes Jahr alle Bände noch mal lesen.
Wenn es so lange dauert, hat man die Einzelheiten der Handlung sowieso schon längst wieder vergessen... zumindest mir geht es so, dass ich mir gerade bei so komplexen Handlungssträngen die Details einfach nicht mehr merken kann. Aber wir werden ja auch alle langsam alt.

Hinten im Buch ist ja eine Übersicht an Charaktere ... diverse Namen kamen mir schon noch bekant vor, aber bei deren letzten Aktivitäten wurde die Erinerung noch sehr dünn.
Mal sehen, wie es wird, zu Beginn gibt ja auch erst mal wieder einen Stapel neuer Charaktere.
Was Bücherserien angeht, kann ich auch "Die Lügen des Locke Lamora" (Gentleman Bastards, "The Lies of Locke Lamora") von Scott Lynch empfehlen. Ich habe zwar erst Buch 1 gelesen, aber Buch 2 liegt schon parat.

Ich habe von John Gwynne "Malice" angefangen aus der Reihe "The Faithful and the Fallen" (book one), während ich noch sehnlichst auf seinen dritten Band von The Bloodsworn warte. Immerhin schreibt er tatsächlich einen Band pro Jahr.
Shares of Grey war besser als Red Side Story, ist wohl besser, ein Geheimnis aufzumachen als es zu schließen, aber das Buch war schon sehr gut.
Okay, ich habe "Shades of Grey" mit "Fifty Shades of Grey" verwechselt und gedacht, du willst provozieren. Jasper Fforde ist mir erst einige Zeit später gedämmert.
